About me

My name is Heidi Blanton and I have been doing my own family research or helping individuals with theirs for 14 years. I have a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, a passion for research and a love of history.

I am originally from Toledo, Ohio, in the United States and while my research focus has started with my family, mostly from Ohio and Kentucky, I have since branched into UK family research.

I currently live in London, United Kingdom, and I have done for about 10 years now. I'm based in Kingston upon Thames, within easy reach of the National Archives in Richmond. I'm also a member of the Society of Genealogists and spend much of my current time in and around the City of London.
